The urban plan and the ‘image quality plan’ of KCAP for the Humanities Campus of the Faculty of Humanities in Leiden was released last week by the Municipal Executive Board for public consultation. This is an important step towards the development of the current historical site into an attractive, inspiring and future-oriented campus.

For this transformation, the urban plan offers a future-proof framework with a strong identity: an open and city-oriented concept with optimal connections to the city center, with a network of connecting public spaces and a varied mix of functions like education, housing, restaurants, sports facilities and a park.
