Restructure Transformation City district
Located in the greater Paris region, Le Faisceau covers an area of 160 ha between La Défense and La Seine. The area is characterised by major infrastructural elements such as connection with La Défense and Paris, dividing the city of Nanterre into two parts. The restructuring of Le Faisceau aims to find solutions to the massive infrastructure problems, to transform the road RD914 from highway to urban boulevard and to connect the separate parts of Nanterre by repairing the urban cut.
The concept of KCAP is based on the differences of the sub-areas in Le Faisceau with their own character, functions and urban density. The masterplan proposes a composition of six neighbourhoods...
