The Schiphol Masterplan evaluates different development directions to shape a vision for the future and come up with a framework that informs decision- and policy making. To achieve this goal, the structure plan has to anticipate and resolve the infrastructural challenges of operation, the future growth of the airport, as well as propose the tools to integrate the airport with its surrounding in a better way, towards the formation of an ‘Airport City’ with a richer mix of uses and a better integration of its composing parts.
