The Reef at King's Dock is a residential development on a former shipyard site in downtown Singapore. Here we propose an urban village with diverse buildings with lush greenery and unique floating swimming pools of which now the first segment was installed.

The floating deck is designed in such a way as to preserve its natural surroundings, keeping the existing structure of King's Dock to protect its thriving marine ecosystem. When finished, the pools will provide an immersive experience of this remarkable location and its rich underwater life. The second and third segments of the floating deck are expected to arrive in a few months.

KCAP collaborates on this project with the local office DCA Architects Pte Ltd and landscape designers Grant Associates for the joint venture Keppel Land / Mapletree.
