Nieuwbouwprijs Amsterdam: AT5 broadcast about De Heelmeesters

Check out the documentary about De Heelmeesters on local Amsterdam TV channel AT5. All 10 nominated projects of the Amsterdam Nieuwbouwprijs are shown in a sequence of documentaries. Have you already voted for De Heelmeesters? You can still cast your vote until October 23rd.  

De Heelmeesters is nominated for the Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs. All residential projects realised between August 2012 and August 2013 could enter the selection of the award. From the longlist of 40 projects a selection of 10 are shortlisted and open for voting. Cast your vote until October 23!

Amsterdam's local TV channel AT5 broadcasted in their series 'Aanbouw' (under construction) a documentary about the developments in Amsterdam's Eenhoorngebied. One of which, just recently delivered, is KCAP's housing ensemble De Heelmeesters. Han van den Born as architect of the project was interviewed on site. Click here to view the film (in Dutch).

Today, the housing project De Heelmeesters will be officially opened. The ensemble is part of the redevelopment of the Eenhoorn area in the East of Amsterdam. De Heelmeesters offers 178 apartments and 2.600 m2 commercial space in two U-shaped buildings with inner courtyards. The project has been developed by Bouwinvest Development and excecuted by Lokhorst Bouw en Ontwikkeling.

We shared some construction images at the facebook page of De Heelmeesters residential project in Amsterdam. The project is estimated to be completed in the spring of 2013.

Construction of the housing project De Heelmeesters (formerly called Eenhoorn) in Amsterdam is progessing. It has started in the spring of 2011. Completion will be in summer 2013.
