Nolympics exhibition opens June 23rd in London

On Saturday, June 23rd, the exhibition 'Nolympics' will open in London. It showcases unrealised Dutch Olympic architecture and can be seen until July 6th.

"This exhibition project, the Dutch contribution to the International Showcase of the London Festival of Architecture 2012, profiles a selection of high-quality projects connected to past bids to become an Olympic, versions of Olympic designs that were never realised in their original form and, more excitingly, Olympic architecture that may still happen. In some cases, this is certainly a possibility.

Deploying creative use of an interesting architectural space, the public are invited to live the Olympic dream as envisaged by the likes of BDP, KCAP and MVRDV, amongst others."
KCAP's projects in the exhibition are: South of Olympic Park Beijing, Olympic Badminton Arena and Beijing Olympic Cultural District and of course London Legacy Framework.
