The shopping center - now called Killesberghöhe (former Forum K) - is part of the Think K mixed-use development in which KCAP builds three apartment buildings with 24 residential units. The first retail units will be officially opened today. Construction of the entire development has started one year ago and reached its highest point in May 2012.

‘THINK K’ Stuttgart has reached its highest point. The celebration takes place this afternoon in Stuttgart. Construction of the new city quarter on Stuttgart’s Killesberg has started in July 2011 and will be delivered in phases, starting in the coming months. THINK K Stuttgart is the transformation of the former trade fair location on Stuttgart’s Killesberg into a vibrant new city quarter. The project is based on an international design competition held in 2009 in which four international architects, including KCAP, together with Fürst Developments, were awarded winning team. Within this framework, KCAP is responsible for three sculpturally shaped urban villas with stepped roof terraces. The overall program comprises of approximately 60.000 m2 with 47% for housing for 400 residents, 13.500 m2 commerce, 7.000 m2 offices, 800 m2 restaurants, a children’s’ day-care, recreation facilities and studios for creative meetings.
