Ir. Frank Werner


Frank Werner studied architecture at the TU Delft, where he graduated in 1995.

In 1996, Frank joined KCAP and became associate in 2009, in 2018 director. He is co-responsible for the acquisition, organisation, planning and contracting of KCAP’s urban projects. Frank is an all-round, multidisciplinary designer with profound experience in the design and organization of urban plans at various scales. His particular focus lies in urban revitalisation schemes with programs containing sports, leisure and retail.

His special interest include flexible planning tools. Together with Kees Christiaanse and the ETH Zurich he pioneerd with the research project KaisersRot. He wrote several articles and gave various lectures on that subject.

From 2001- 2003 he was guest teacher at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture. He is a regular visiting critic at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and the Technical University of Delft.
