Anouk Kuitenbrouwer

Anouk Kuitenbrouwer, architect and urban designer, studied architecture at the Ecole d’Architecture Paris Belleville and at the St. Lukas Hogeschool in Brussels where she graduated in 1998 on a masterplan for the reforesting of the east of Brussels. After graduating, Anouk worked at West 8, Rotterdam and Xaveer De Geyter Architects, Brussels which has allowed her to develop the multidisciplinary approach that has guided her work since then.

Anouk joined KCAP in 2006, became associate in 2013 and partner in 2018. She has worked on architecture and urban planning projects in Switzerland, Germany and across Europe and since 2016 in Singapore and South East Asia and has significantly contributed to the development of KCAP’s Swiss office. Focus areas are urban transformation projects, station area developments, urban development at airports, innovation districts and strategic masterplanning.

Research is integral of Anouk’s work, informing and evolving the  understanding of urban processes. She is frequently invited as expert in workshops, conferences and juries. Anouk has comprehensive experience in leading large design teams and advising on process design, stakeholder management and public participation formats. In several cases, she combines KCAP’s role as masterplanner with an advisory role to clients.
