ABOUT YOU
- Enthusiastic team player who can also work autonomously
- Excellent design and graphic skills
- Driven and pro active
- Able to work in all regional and urban scales
- Affinity with design scales on the edge of urbanism, architecture and landscape design
- Experience with urban planning, planning systems and project management
- Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks and/or AutoCAD (2d/3d)
(Knowledge of Rhino and/or 3Dmax is preferred)
- Experience of minimum 5 years 
- Master degree in Urban Planning or as architect specialized in urban design
- Fluent in English (written & verbal) and Dutch, a third language is a pro
- Authorized to work in the Netherlands

Position: Landscape Architect

Ever worked on restoring a 130-kilometer coastline or redeveloped a former World Expo Site? Ever had the chance to co-shape a Landscape Department in close collaboration with an Associate Partner?

Landscape is an endless source of inspiration for us. ABOUT YOU

- Together with the Associate Partner/Head of Landscape Design you will be closely part and co-shaping an enthusiastic and fast growing Landscape Department
- Supervising the execution of a variety of high profile and national and international projects - Guiding and managing the expectations of our clients on a daily bases
- Guiding and work close with collaborative parties
- Work on projects such as transformations of (post-)industrial areas to public squares, parks and courtyards
- Guiding junior team members and coach them for future roles
- Play an important role in adding and improving graphical skills within the Department

Intern urban design and architecture
We are looking for students with ambition and a passion for urban design and architecture. Are you venturous and looking for an opportunity to develop within your field of interest?

KCAP Architects & Planners is an international design firm specialised in architecture, urbanism and landscape architecture. We are working with an international staff of around 100 employees in our offices in Rotterdam, Zurich and Shanghai. KCAP has a reputation for developing and realizing unique designs at the fringe between landscape, architecture and urbanism. We currently have a vacancy for a creative intern in our office in Rotterdam.

We are looking for candidates who are:

- studying at the TU, preferably masters of architecture or urban design and planning, preferably at the end of your bachelor study
- willing to work in a multidisciplinary team on complex projects that cover a wide range of scales
- talented designers and/or have knowledge in urban planning
- fluent in English, preferably speak Dutch and a third language is favourable
- highly skilled in strong AutoCAD, Vectorworks, 3D Studio and Adobe Suite and
- available for a period of at least 6 months
- in the possession of a valid working permit for the Netherlands

Visualiser

Currently the office is involved in a variety of projects in Europe and Asia on scales ranging from urban to architectural design. We are currently seeking reinforcement of our team of visualisers. Applicants should:

- Have expert skills and knowledge in 3D-modeling, rendering and imaging with 3DS Max and Photoshop. Profound knowledge of either AutoCad, Vectorworks or Sketchup is required, all 3 is preferred. Itoo forrest pack and Itoo Rialclone as well as Corona render is a benefit;

- Have at least 5 years of experience in renown design firms as a visualiser

- Have exceptional spatial insight in both building volumes and open spaces and know how these can be visualised in the best possible way

- Have a profound interest in -and affinity with- urban environments, landscapes, architecture and materials

- Have the ability to develop a strong and distinguished graphic language

- Be a team player who can work efficiently under pressure

- Be fluent in English an preferably in Dutch
