Kees Christiaanse jury member in Porsche Design Tower competition Frankfurt

Kees Christiaanse is one of the jury members in the Porsche Design Tower competition in Frankfurt. 20 international architects present their design to the jury experts today, March 27th.

The assignment is to design a 80 m height tower with 23 floors and about 180 luxury class residential units. Total floor area comprises 26.000 m2 (22.000 for residential use, 4.000 for parking). The location of the tower is Europaviertel, one of Germany’s largest inner city quarter and district developments of recent years. Next to the development of the Riedberg city district (KCAP won the competition recently), it is the largest urban development project in Frankfurt/Main for many decades.

'The aim is the design of a unique one-of-a-kind building that offers selected international buyers a combination of the highest levels of design and comfort. The residential high rise will be built and marketed under the name “Porsche Design Tower Frankfurt”. The Porsche Design GmbH will provide consulting and design services regarding the visual appearance of the building. These will be included in the task specifications of the competition.'

The competition is initiated by P+B Planen + Bauen in cooperation with aurelis real estate and the city of Frankfurt/Main.
