The theme of Urbanism Week 2011 is: SO, YOU ARE AN URBANIST?! This is an open question, sharply reflecting on the importance of the urbanism discipline, looking back, but even more looking into the future:
What are you? What does the ‘urban’ do to you? What is the profession really about? We are not looking for the solution. In a multidisciplinary setting, we arrive at a more fundamental perspective on our profession. We want to seek for the edges and return to the essentials. SO, YOU ARE AN URBANIST?!
Markus Appenzeller is one of the 12 selected keynote speakers who will reflect on this question during Urbanism Week, September 26 - 30th at TU Delft. Urbanism Week is organised by student association POLIS and the architecture faculty of TU Delft.
