KCAP Architects&Planners celebrates the official opening ceremony of their Shanghai based office today, May 12th. On this occasion the Chinese version of their website www.kcap.eu will be launched. KCAP Shanghai is the third office next to the headquarter in Rotterdam (NL) and the branch in Zurich (CH).
KCAP is working since 10 years in China and is currently involved in about 10 projects in China. The current projects range from large-scale urban design and regeneration strategies across master plans to a series of architectural commissions for mixed-use developments including housing, retail and community facilities, hotel and commercial complexes. Just recently KCAP was awarded the first prize nomination in the urban regeneration competition in Shenzhen.
KCAP Shanghai is operational since the beginning of 2011 and is located in the Dutch Design Workspace Shanghai (DDWS). DDWS supports Dutch Design firms with their start in the Chinese market with shared workspace and specialist support.
The opening ceremony of KCAP Shanghai is a joint event including the launch the first edition of the Dutch Design in China Yearbook 2011 by DDWS.
