On 30 December 2010 KCAP has entered into the 2nd round of the competition and is selected as one of 5 (out of 14) formally invited consulting groups of International Consultation on the Regeneration and Redevelopment of Sungang-Qingshuihe, Shenzhen.
The site of The Sungang - Qingshuihe area is 5.34 km². In the early 1980s, this area’s development and construction started off along the Shenzhen North Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway and was the first and largest public warehousing area in Shenzhen.
From Gate to Gateway: We propose that Sungang and Qingshuihe should be understood as an urban Gateway balancing nature and culture and connecting Hong Kong to the inner China in an open, harmonious and creative City!
