Beijing Design Week is an international design event, from 25 September until 3 October 2011, at various locations in China's capital city. Following the theme "SMART CITIES, HEALTHY CITIES", and co-ordinated by DutchDFA, the Dutch programme at BJDW focuses on how we can safeguard our well being in tomorrow’s urban environments through design. It includes exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and lectures, involving iconic Dutch designers.
Within this program Irma van Oort will give a lecture on September 29th about 'Taking care of the City'.
